Who can ever forget the Hindmotor-born goalkeeper’s superlative display under the bars in the 2016 Hero Indian Super League final against Kerala Blasters FC that helped the erstwhile ATK FC bag their second Hero Indian Super League title? Recipient of the ‘Best Goalkeeper’ award in the 2016-17 Hero I-League and two Hero I-League winners medals, ‘Save-jit’ Majumder last played for us in 2011-12 and has been a seasoned campaigner on the Indian football circuit.

A member of the Red-and-Gold family for the past three years, Mirshad was roped in by the East Bengal management in 2017, following his impressive performance for Gokulam Kerala FC in that year’s Kerala Premier League, but has had limited playing opportunities so far.

One of India's finest-ever goalkeepers, Subrata Paul has joined SC East Bengal on loan from Hyderabad FC. This is his second stint with the Red-and-Golds after the 2008-09 season in which he bagged the Federation Cup.
In a career spanning seventeen years, Paul has played for a number of other clubs including Mohun Bagan, Pune FC, United Sports Club, Rangdajied United, Salgaocar and DSK Shivajians in the Hero I-League, and Mumbai City FC, NorthEast United FC, Jamshedpur FC and Hyderabad FC in the Hero ISL.
Nicknamed the 'Spiderman' for his heart-stopping saves during India's AFC Asian Cup campaign in Qatar in 2011, Paul has donned the India colours 6 times and is one of the few Indian players with European pedigree, having plied his trade for Danish club Vestsjaelland.

An Arjuna Award recipient, Paul has been part of India's title-winning sides that lifted the 2008 AFC ChallengeCup, the 2015 SAFF Championship as well as the Nehru Cup triumphs in 2012 and 2009.

With over 260 saves and 28 clean sheets to his name, Paul is one of the best shot-stoppers in the history of the Hero ISL.

Goalkeeper Suvam Sen has joined SC East Bengal from CFL Premier Division side Bhawanipore FC. The 31-year-old plied his trade for Guwahati FC, Calcutta Customs, and Mohammedan Sporting Club in the past.
